Privacy Policy

This site - cryptokarl013.xyz - is a static research publication. It does not maintain user accounts, comment systems, or server-side forms. The following explains what limited data is collected when you visit.

1. Data collected by the site itself

None directly. The site is served as static HTML from GitHub Pages and does not run any server-side processing under the author’s control. The author does not have access to any request logs.

2. Data collected by hosting (GitHub Pages)

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you load any page, GitHub’s servers log:

• Your IP address
• User agent (browser / OS)
• Referrer URL
• Timestamp of the request

These logs are controlled by GitHub and governed by GitHub’s Privacy Statement. The author of this site does not access, store, or process them.

3. Data collected by analytics (Google Analytics)

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-C90F5LHLFF) to understand aggregate readership. Google Analytics collects:

• Pseudonymous identifiers (a client-side cookie or similar token)
• Pages viewed, session duration, approximate geography (country/region)
• Referrer, device type, browser

Data is processed by Google under Google’s Analytics terms. The author uses this data only in aggregate to understand which reports are being read and from which regions. The author does not export raw visitor data, attempt to re-identify visitors, or share analytics data with third parties.

If you prefer not to be measured:

• Install a browser extension such as Google Analytics Opt-out, uBlock Origin, or Privacy Badger.
• Use a browser with tracking protection enabled (Safari, Firefox strict mode).
• Enable Do Not Track in your browser - the site respects DNT signals where GA supports it.

4. Cookies

The site does not set first-party cookies beyond what the static theme template may emit. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically _ga, _ga_<ID>). No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies are set by the author.

5. Third-party embedded content

Some reports embed or link to third-party services:

• Arkham Intelligence (intel.arkm.com) - address labels
• Etherscan / Solscan - block explorer links
• Breadcrumbs.app - fund-flow reports (linked, not iframed)
• web.archive.org - archived snapshots
• External images from GitHub avatars / CDNs (avatars.githubusercontent.com)

When you click a link to any of these services, the service’s own privacy policy applies. The site does not embed iframes that would load third-party content directly into the page without your click.

6. Email contact

If you contact the author via cryptokarl013@gmail.com, your email is received by Google’s Gmail service under Google’s privacy terms. Emails are retained for as long as is reasonably useful for the correspondence (typically at least the statute-of-limitations period applicable to related reports). Emails are not published without your consent except as summarised - anonymously - for the purpose of recording that a correction request or right-of-reply was received.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). If a child has nevertheless contacted the author, please advise so that the contact can be deleted.

8. Your rights (EU / UK / similar jurisdictions)

If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with data-protection law granting you rights over your personal data, you may:

• Request access to any personal data held about you (typically none, beyond any correspondence you have initiated).
• Request deletion of that data.
• Request that analytics data that includes your pseudonymous identifier be disassociated from future collection.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may change. Changes are logged by updating the last_modified_at date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in a dated entry at the bottom of this page.
